Pre-Corona Wedding – Wow, the timing!
I have been so excited to share this wedding for so many reasons. One big reason being that from a design perspective, it was a dream. And from a timing perspective, I realize now that it was an event and design that would carry me through the craziness of this Corona Virus pandemic. This wedding was just on the eve of the shut-down. The love shown here is real, lasting, and worthy of the amazing story telling of the bride and her design story.
The bride and groom have crazy wicked style. And when a she says, “I trust your design, just do it” you jump at the chance.
But in the process, what I didn’t realize until seeing the incredible imagery, was that this bride is an incredible story-teller. Her big day had meaning, with a strong back-story, romance, and family included in the history of this beginning with her groom into a new life that is steeped in strong sentiment, intimacy, and love.
What I did anticipate was the fashion sense and style! This couple is magazine worthy! And while they are gorgeous, handsome, and red-hot, they are real, down to earth, kind, and gracious. The love is visible in the photos. It is not a fashion shoot. It is real life. These two are passionate about each other and about those in their lives.
I am grateful to have been a part of their big day. I was able to design creatively to complement their style and personalities. Even meeting some of the guests during the transition between ceremony and reception confirmed that this design relationship was a great fit. Great people, great couple, fashionable guests with a heart for love and this couple’s union! Truly kind, loving, and grateful to be a part of such a special day.
Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Wood for allowing me the honor of designing for you. It was a pleasure, and a creative dream! Thank you for allowing me the privilege of capturing the design and setup experience with my photographer daughter as well! What a blessing!
